Converse Japan’s latest ALL STAR COINLOAFER WAXED LEATHER puts the familiar loafer strap above a rubber sole, then adds a small detail that can change faces. Dark-brown model 31319360 carries an official release date of 23 October 2026 and a Japanese price of ¥22,000 including tax.

## The coin is part of the design

The removable coin is reversible. One face carries a Converse ankle-patch emblem; the other shows the ALL STAR logo. It is a small way to change the shoe’s presentation without replacing the basic dark-brown leather upper.

The official gallery shows the strap, textured leather surface and black rubber surround in close-up. This is the exact dark-brown model, rather than a colour variation standing in for the release.

## A loafer with an ALL STAR foundation

Converse specifies a leather upper and rubber outsole, with Cambodia listed as the country of origin. Inside, the insole combines open-cell urethane foam with an EVA wedge.

That construction explains the maker’s comfort positioning, but it is not a substitute for a wear test. The appeal here is the meeting of a penny-loafer outline and visible ALL STAR details, not an independently proven performance advantage.

## The Japanese release

The official product page gives 23 October as the release date. Its earlier page-publication metadata does not change that explicitly stated launch timing.

When checked on 26 October, the official catalogue marked its 15 size variants, spanning 22 to 30 centimetres, as available. The page indicated shipment in approximately two business days. These are time-sensitive Japanese store listings, not a verified checkout or a promise of local stock. Malaysian availability and landed pricing remain unconfirmed.
