A plain sweatshirt does not need much decoration to have a point of view. Sometimes the colour and the amount of room in the body are enough.
REMI RELIEF’s RN6012SDR, featured in Sun House’s 9 October arrival story, works on those two details. It takes the brand’s established SP-finished crewneck and gives it a wider, box-shaped fit. The neck and underarm gussets have also been removed to simplify the outline.

Washed colour, generous shape
The sweatshirt is made in Japan from 100% cotton, with a loopback interior. Sun House lists Black, Purple Navy and Bordeaux. Each has a faded surface rather than the flat, saturated look of a fresh block of colour.
Sun House describes the SP finish as a process carried out at REMI RELIEF’s own factory, using direct dyes and a slow oxidation process to produce the washed appearance. That is a retailer account of the treatment, not evidence of years of actual wear. The character visible in the photographs is already there when the sweatshirt is new.

It is an easy direction to understand if the rest of a wardrobe centres on denim, fatigues and leather shoes. A muted sweatshirt can sit quietly among them. Purple Navy offers some colour without an obvious graphic, while the Black version keeps attention on the broad shoulder and sleeve shape.

The small is already quite large
The size chart is more informative than the S, M and L labels. Sun House measures the small at 70cm across the chest and 65cm in length. That is a deliberately wide body, so buying a familiar letter size without checking the dimensions could produce an unexpected result.
Compare it with a sweatshirt you already like. The useful measurement is not just width: a shorter body changes where the ribbed hem sits over trousers, while the shoulder width changes how the sleeves fall. The silhouette needs to make sense as a whole.

There is also a care detail to understand before ordering. Sun House says the finishing can include uneven colour, small holes or worn edges. It advises washing separately with neutral detergent and avoiding the tumble dryer. Someone looking for a uniformly finished sweatshirt should take that information seriously.
This is a new-arrival preview, with no claim about how the fabric feels after washing or how it will hold up over several seasons. The appeal is visible enough: an everyday shape, softened colour and plenty of room. Whether it becomes a regular depends on how comfortably those proportions fit the clothes around it.

The RN6012SDR is listed at ¥18,480 at Sun House, the Japan tax-inclusive price in its arrival article. Most colour and size combinations were available on 21 October 2026; Black in small was unavailable.
