BRODO announced the return of its VTG V.2 in an official journal post dated 20 October. The Indonesian maker describes a comeback after an absence, not the first release of the silhouette.
The current shop lists both low and high versions. The low Natural White OW model is Rp409,000, while high versions on the homepage are Rp449,000. Those are advertised Indonesian prices, not verified landed costs for Malaysia.
Canvas and vulcanised construction
The exact low Natural White listing specifies a 12oz cotton-canvas upper, cotton terry-style lining, flat cotton laces and an EVA cup insole. It also lists rubber foxing and outsole with vulcanised construction.
The photographs show the familiar low canvas profile, rubber toe surround and metal eyelets. These are visible or listed details, not proof of comfort or lifespan. We have not worn a pair, and the maker’s broader claims about everyday use should be read as product positioning.
A return, not a new material story
The journal looks back at earlier collaborations and versions before announcing that the VTG V.2 is available again. Those historical projects are not the construction specification for the plain canvas pair covered here. No suede, recycled-material or collaboration claim is being transferred to it.
BRODO’s homepage calls the promotion “The Comeback” and uses Vantage V2 wording, while the actual product listing says VTG V.2. Use the exact listing name and colour when checking an order. Size selectors do not confirm stock, and current checkout, tax treatment and Malaysia shipping remain unverified.
