WILDSIDE’s October original collection adds two small leather accessories: a flat shoulder bag and a braided wallet cord. Yohji Yamamoto’s 15 October announcement set their Japanese release for 21 October, making this a recent addition rather than a launch happening today.
The shoulder bag is the simpler object: black cow leather, a slender strap and a body listed at 23 by 15.5 centimetres. The maker describes it as sized for a smartphone, not as a replacement for a full daily bag.
Two different ways to carry
The Cow Leather Shoulder Bag, WW-I14-710-1-03, is listed at ¥19,800 including Japanese tax. WILDSIDE specifies 100% cow leather and Japanese manufacture, and says four oils are used in tanning to influence the leather’s feel. We have not tested its capacity, strap comfort or ageing.
The Braided Leather Wallet Cord, WW-A04-901-2-03, costs ¥13,200 including Japanese tax. Its listed length is 66cm and width 0.8cm, with cow-leather cord and brass fittings. The maker says Japanese craftspeople transition from a four-strand round braid to a three-strand flat braid near the end.

Keep the release boundaries clear
The Fishhook Keychain pictured in the same announcement is an earlier August product, not a third new October accessory. This story and its photographs concentrate on the new bag and wallet cord.
The official Japanese product pages provide specifications and prices but do not establish current checkout availability or Malaysia delivery. The bag’s lining, fastening details and strap length should be checked against a buyer’s needs rather than inferred from its minimal appearance. Patina and comfort remain maker descriptions, not a hands-on verdict.
