GRIP SWANY and TAION are on their second collaborative down collection, but the noteworthy material change is specific: a high-density 20-denier CORDURA nylon outer. Japan sales began on 15 October 2026 after a 25 September preorder, according to the participating retailers and reports collected for this release.
The hooded jacket, code TAION-106VZWK-GS, is shown by TAION at ¥42,900 including Japanese consumption tax. It sits alongside a vest, trousers, gloves and cap in the capsule.

What the shell and insulation mean
The maker describes the fabric as CORDURA nylon; this is a branded yarn/fabric specification, not a blanket claim that the jacket is abrasion-proof or flame-resistant. The stated down quality is 800 fill power, with the jacket product specification using a 90% down / 10% feather filling ratio. Other garments or pattern variants should not be assigned those figures without their own labels.
Official photography shows a high collar and hood, multiple zippered pockets, pronounced quilting and black and dark-olive colour options. These are visible design details, not evidence from a wear test.

Where it stands now
Independent outdoor publication hinata covered the capsule on 19 October. Sizes may move independently at different Japanese stockists; a maker page showing a colour does not prove a particular size can currently be ordered, and overseas checkout requires separate verification.
