Kawanishi Kaban has scheduled its gravy organiser for sale on 31 October. Designed for the existing grabe tote, the slim canvas insert gathers a laptop and small work items into a unit that can be lifted out without transferring them one by one.
The removable part of a work bag
The maker specifies space for a 13-inch MacBook Air and an A4 clear file, with four smaller pockets for accessories. That describes the intended load, not universal laptop compatibility or tested impact protection. Check the dimensions of a particular device and case.
Official photographs show the organiser fitted inside the grabe, as well as laid flat. Clips secure it to the host bag; a separately sold shoulder attachment can give it another carrying option. The catalogue identifies the full-size grabe as its corresponding model, rather than promising compatibility with every tote.

Canvas, without the extra bulk
Kawanishi lists dimensions of 26 × 36 × 3cm and a weight of 290g. The material is paraffin-treated ALBERTON army duck with Tochigi leather details. Natural canvas, olive and greige are the listed colours. We have not assessed wear, water resistance or protection for electronic equipment.

A separate purchase and delivery schedule
The Japanese price is ¥17,900 including tax. Although the organiser and anniversary grabe sets share a 31 October date, they are different products with different ordering conditions.
The maker says gravy must be ordered separately from the anniversary preorder tote. Its own listing estimates dispatch within a week of an order, not the tote set’s December window. Actual launch-day inventory and Malaysian delivery remain unverified.
