master-piece and STRICT-G’s second bag collection arrived on 17 October, taking its olive-and-yellow palette from Char Aznable’s military-school uniform in Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN. The three shapes are familiar enough to make sense away from the reference: a backpack, a roomy shoulder bag and a compact helmet bag.

The official launch announcement lists the Lightning Backpack at ¥47,300, Ark Shoulder Bag M at ¥41,800 and Lightning Helmet Bag S at ¥37,400. Those are Japanese tax-inclusive prices; shipping and handling are separate. All three are made in Japan, with nylon bodies and cowhide details.

The fabric deserves a closer look
The Ark Shoulder Bag M uses densely woven nylon twill. Its broad strap and soft body give it a less rigid outline than the backpack, while the dark leather patches keep the military references relatively contained. The official dimensions are 290 × 290 × 120mm.

There are different materials within the collection, rather than one blanket fabric specification. STRICT-G lists 1680-denier CORDURA Ballistic nylon among the small helmet bag’s secondary materials, with a water-repellent face treatment and polyurethane backing. Its accompanying camouflage pouch uses 610-denier CORDURA polyester. The pouch fabric should therefore not be described as nylon.

That small helmet bag is the most compact of the three. The official photographs show the two front pockets, short handles and shoulder strap, with a bright yellow interior that is easier to distinguish from the olive exterior. The Ark offers a more relaxed shoulder-carry shape; the backpack keeps its load higher on the back.

A separate blue Club Eden reflector charm is ¥3,630. The launch covers STRICT-G stores and the announced online channels, including Premium Bandai and master-piece. Current stock depends on the model and retailer; the release date is not a stock guarantee.
