Naked & Famous Denim released its Hellraiser “Pinhead” Selvedge on 22 October. Rather than covering the outside with film graphics, the licensed edition starts with a 14oz Japanese black denim whose small white neps interrupt the dark surface.

The black warp and white weft both contain those irregular fibres. A red selvedge edge appears at the cuff and coin pocket, while the stitching and hardware remain black. The more direct film references sit at the leather patch and inside one pocket bag, which carries the 1987 poster artwork.

The jeans are made in Canada. The release spans Super Guy, Weird Guy, Easy Guy, True Guy and Strong Guy; the photographs here show Weird Guy, a mid-rise tapered fit. Choose by measurements and shape, rather than assuming all five versions fit alike.

The official Weird Guy listing was US$244 when checked on 24 October, with stock varying by waist size. Geneviève Boucher’s 17 October brand journal explains the textile and licensed details. The photographs are new-product views, not a record of how this cloth has faded in use.
