The new bag is already out; the current event is where to see it. objcts.io announced the Essential Leather Boston on 7 October, began Japanese sales on 14 October, and scheduled a Nagoya Takashimaya pop-up from 21 October to 3 November 2026. Kyoto Takashimaya has a separate event ending 27 October.
The range comprises two sizes, but the useful compact option is the Medium: an approximately 8.5L bag listed at ¥59,400 including Japanese tax.

A specific leather and layout
The maker quotes 518 g for the Medium, a body measuring approximately 340 × 200 × 125 mm, and four internal pockets: one zipped, one wider compartment and two small-item pockets. The exterior is treated cowhide, with a cotton-twill lining. Its leather weather-resistance is a maker claim; this is not an independent rain test.
The two top handles and structured zip opening give the bag a more conventional everyday silhouette than many tech-first leather accessories. The photographed pocket layout helps explain capacity more than the shape alone.

The pop-up is not a stock guarantee
Holiday Travel’s 7 October release report lists Nagoya and Kyoto retail dates. Colour, size and current cart availability should still be checked at the individual store. The Medium’s leather-care instructions also caution against applying oils or other maintenance products without guidance.
