ONI has put its Just Right Straight cut into 8oz selvedge chino cloth, offering a five-pocket trouser in khaki beige and olive rather than another variation on indigo denim.
The editions are 271-SVCKB in Khaki Beige and 271-SVCOL in Olive. Redcast Heritage lists both at €235, before any destination-specific changes at checkout.

The release came to our attention through Philip Friedman’s 9 October report for Heddels. The retailer’s exact-model listings provide the fabric and construction detail.
Chino cloth, jean construction
The khaki edition uses yarn-dyed cotton twill with khaki in both warp and weft. The olive version follows the same approach in olive.

Both retain a high rise and regular straight shape with a subtle taper. The familiar five-pocket construction is joined by copper doughnut buttons, hidden rear-pocket rivets, raised belt loops and a vegetable-tanned leather patch. The outseam carries a white selvedge edge.

It is a useful distinction from a conventional pair of chinos: the fabric changes, but the jean-like pocket layout remains. For an outfit already built around boots, work shirts or a plain sweatshirt, that gives the trouser a different place in the rotation without demanding a different wardrobe.

Availability and sizing
Redcast’s product pages include measurements for the listed sizes. Compare those measurements with trousers that fit, rather than buying on the tagged size alone.

The current listings describe the cloth as unsanforized and one-washed, with no further shrinkage expected. That is the retailer’s guidance, not our own wash test; follow its care advice before washing or commissioning a hem. Check your selected size and final destination price directly; a catalogue listing does not guarantee every variant is still available.
