POC introduced the Arcus on October 20 as an all-mountain snow helmet built around adjustment on the move. Its design brings a hybrid shell, Mips Air Node and a BOA fit system together with ventilation controls intended to be operated in gloves.
Two shell materials
The Arcus combines a polycarbonate crown with an ABS lower shell. POC positions that construction as a way to balance weight and durability across different parts of the helmet. Those are the maker’s design claims rather than an independent comparison with another helmet.

Controls for a cold day
A magnetic ventilation control moves through three positions, giving the wearer a direct way to change airflow. Fit is adjusted with a BOA system, while the chin strap uses a Fidlock HOOK 20 buckle. Removable ear pads add another point of adjustment. The official photographs show the black helmet both on its own and worn with goggles.

Choose by fit, not by the photograph
The Uranium Black Matt version appears in POC’s US catalogue alongside the October announcement. Fit, size and local availability should be checked through the regional product listing before purchase. This report does not assess impact performance or claim that a particular helmet is suitable for every skier.
