Red Wing’s Norway Moc 8213 is now part of the US offering, bringing its winter-oriented take on the moc-toe boot to a wider audience. US retailer REVOLVR lists the model at US$369.99.
Ryan Calder’s October report for HiConsumption drew attention to the stateside introduction. The Norway Moc idea itself is not entirely new; the story is this model and its broader availability, rather than the invention of a new boot category.

The changes are underfoot as well as on top
The 8213 uses Scotch-grain Copper Rough & Tough leather, with an embossed surface, gunmetal eyelets and a Vibram Fire & Ice Lug outsole. Red Wing Amsterdam’s model-specific listing identifies a Norwegian-style storm welt, padded Dri-brelle canvas lining and a removable felted-wool footbed.

It is built on last 45. That is worth noting when comparing it with another moc-toe model: a familiar outline does not mean an identical fit. Use the exact model’s sizing guidance rather than transferring a size from a different boot without checking.

The combination puts this release firmly in a cold-weather context. Readers looking for a boot for winter travel have a more relevant reason to investigate it than someone simply wanting another everyday pair for tropical weather.

Where it stands
The REVOLVR product page identifies the 8213 and its US price. Regional stock, sizing and delivery arrangements vary, so check the destination retailer before ordering.

The maker’s water-resistance and cold-weather traction descriptions remain manufacturer claims, not findings from a simpl. wear test. We are also not describing the boot as waterproof or promising slip-proof performance on ice.
