Self Edge confirmed a 29 September 2026 restock of its black-bison roper made with Unmarked. It is a returning make-up rather than a newly introduced boot: the retailer originally presented the collaboration in April.
Nick Turner highlighted the restock for Stitchdown on 2 October. Self Edge's own September announcement is the primary dated source. The distinction matters when an older design appears again in a current-new-arrival feed.
The exact make-up
The retailer's product listing identifies the pair as Self Edge × Unmarked Black Bison Leather & Super Grip Dr. Sole Roper Boots, product 4080, code SUFW_DRSOLEROPERBOOTS_BLA.
Self Edge describes a black teacore, vegetable-tanned bison upper, calfskin lining, leather insole, cork filling and Dr. Sole Super Grip half sole, with 270-degree welted construction. The boots are made in León, Mexico, using Unmarked's 360 last in an E width. These construction details are manufacturer and retailer specifications, not findings from our own wear testing.
The pull-on shaft and Western stitching make this a different proposition from Unmarked's lace-up boots. If checking a resale listing or another retailer, compare the exact bison leather and half-sole make-up rather than the Unmarked name alone.
A restock is not a guarantee of every size
At our latest source check, the official listing advertised US$595 and displayed “In Stock” beside its US size choices. We did not complete variant-by-variant checkout or verify international shipping, taxes or remaining stock. Those details may change without the announcement changing.
The new development is renewed availability of an existing collaboration, not a first release or a promise of a future production run.
