Sugar Cane restocks its black 1947 Hard Wash jeans on 23 October

Sugar Cane’s existing SC42460H 14.25oz black denim 1947 Hard Wash returns to Toyo Enterprise’s Japanese store, with a ¥35,200 tax-inclusive listing and size-dependent stock.

A restock can be more useful than a new model. Toyo Enterprise marked 23 October 2026 as the return date for Sugar Cane lot SC42460H: the 14.25oz black denim 1947 Hard Wash, an existing straight-leg design rather than a newly invented 2026 fit.

Its official Japanese listed price is ¥35,200 including consumption tax. The dated event is renewed availability, not the original launch.

The point of the Hard Wash

Sugar Cane uses the 1947 regular-straight pattern as the basis and sells this version with a worn-in black finish. The factory treatment brings out fading around the seams, button fly and pockets before the jeans have spent months in a wardrobe. A leather patch and intentionally aged-looking stitching are part of the visual package; that is not evidence of real owner wear.

The 14.25oz figure describes the listed denim weight, not the actual weight of a finished pair. The included official and retailer photographs show the fabric texture, rivets, coin pocket and rear-pocket shape clearly.

Check the waist, not just the headline

Toyo Enterprise’s Japanese store listing displayed some unavailable waist choices at the time of checking. Availability must be evaluated by size at checkout, and hemming, shipping and local tax treatment can differ by retailer. This restock is also distinct from the separate Sugar Cane work coat already covered on simpl.
