CHROME Japan’s 13 October product note introduces the Recruit 22L Pack as a bag for the workday and travel. The square-fronted backpack combines a panel-opening main compartment with a padded laptop sleeve and a strap for sliding over a suitcase handle.

The cycling detail sits at the side. One of the two bottle pockets has a bungee intended to hold a U-lock, keeping that awkward object out of the main compartment. A small chest buckle is designed for one-handed operation; the front has a separate zipped pocket.

The Japanese specification lists 22 litres, a weight of 0.8kg and accommodation for a laptop up to 16 inches. Recycled nylon forms the shell, with a recycled polyester lining. CHROME classifies it as water resistant for short spells of light rain, rather than fully waterproof.

Black, coyote and steel blue appear in the maker’s introduction. The black BG502 listing was orderable at ¥15,400 including Japanese tax on 24 October. The dated note establishes an October introduction in the Japan journal, not a verified worldwide launch date. Confirm local availability and device fit separately.
