WaterField’s Cargo returns in waxed canvas—and is already sold out

WaterField brought its Cargo Laptop Bag back on 20 October in a waxed-canvas edition with a chocolate leather flap. The 2026 version was listed at US$479, but the official store showed it sold out when checked on 24 October.

The change is specific to this reissue: one size, waxed canvas and full-grain leather, rather than an invitation to choose among the older Cargo’s fabrics. Its recognisable flap still closes with a paragliding-style buckle. A zipped front pocket gives access to smaller items without opening the entire bag.

Inside are separate padded spaces for a laptop and tablet, with the maker listing compatibility up to a 16-inch laptop. A bright lining and smaller organisers help divide the main compartment; a rear pass-through lets the bag sit over a rolling case handle.

The appeal is the return of an established layout in a different material, not a claim of newly tested performance. WaterField’s current page does not establish a further restock date. Readers interested in this exact version should use the 2026 product page for updates: the older Cargo listing is a separate edition and should not be treated as equivalent stock.
