Clarks has put the Torview’s Black Combi and Red Interest versions into its Japanese autumn line-up. The brand’s 23 October announcement confirms availability at ¥23,100 including tax. The men’s Black Combi pictured here is model 26327916, a wide-looking moc-toe shoe with a substantial gum-coloured sole.
Familiar seam, different proportions
The Wallabee connection is visible in the apron-like seam around the toe, but the Torview takes a broader stance. The low profile of the upper sits over a thick, relatively straight-sided sole rather than trying to reproduce the older shoe exactly. Black Combi adds tassels, contrasting cord and a braided-looking collar detail.
Clarks describes the outsole as lightweight TR and pairs it with its Contour Cushion system. That tells us the intended construction, not how the cushioning will feel after a day on foot. We have not worn or weighed the shoe.
Read the model, not only the colour
The exact Japanese product page identifies 26327916 as a men’s shoe with a leather upper, 2E width and Vietnamese manufacture. Its size note says the box and shoe use UK sizing; a CN marking should not be read as a centimetre measurement. That is worth checking when comparing a familiar sneaker size with this last.
The campaign also covers women’s versions and Red Interest. Those are separate variants, and their sizing should not be inferred from the photographed men’s Black Combi listing.
Available is not the same as in stock in your size
The announcement establishes that the autumn colours were on sale by 23 October; it does not give an exact first-sale day. The current product gallery remains accessible, but we have not completed a size-specific checkout or confirmed delivery to Malaysia.
Nor does the Wallabee resemblance establish that the Torview shares its repair options. Ask the retailer about sole replacement and care for the exact upper before treating it as an equivalent long-term purchase.
