Converse Japan released the All Star Coinloafer Waxed Leather on 23 October. It combines a penny-loafer upper with the familiar low rubber sole of an All Star, in dark brown or vintage black. The Japanese price is ¥22,000 including tax.

The small coin in the strap is functional decoration: one face carries the ankle-patch mark and the other the ALL STAR name. It can be turned over or removed. The waxed leather supplies the other point of difference, with surface change over wear described by Converse rather than independently tested here.

Inside, the brand specifies an open-cell urethane insole combined with an EVA wedge. The result is a loafer-shaped member of the sneaker range; the listing does not establish the repair options associated with a traditionally welted leather shoe.

The dark-brown 31319360 listing showed selectable sizes on 24 October. This is a Japan-market release and price, not confirmation of Malaysian stock or international delivery. The photographs here all show that dark-brown edition; the vintage-black version is a separate colour listing.
