REGAL Shoe & Co. and nonnative’s latest collaboration is a low-profile loafer with GORE-TEX lining and a Vibram outsole. The Japan release was scheduled for 24 October at 11am JST, with a listed price of ¥49,500 including tax.

The project combines a relatively restrained upper with a sole chosen for wet-weather use. Black smooth cowhide and cola-brown suede are the two announced finishes. The images here show the black leather version; REGAL describes the construction as cemented, not Goodyear welted.

That distinction matters when comparing it with more traditional leather shoes. The brand’s claims about waterproofing, cushioning and grip are specifications and intended benefits, not findings from a simpl. road test. The listing does not establish a particular resoling service for this model.

At our 24 October check, every size in REGAL’s black product listing was marked unavailable. The announced release time is therefore not evidence that a pair can currently be ordered. Consult REGAL and the collaboration’s stockists for current size availability. Its fit guidance also differs from sneaker sizing, so compare measurements rather than assuming your usual size will transfer.
